What is Fox Federation?
Fox Federation is made up of three schools; Fox Primary School in Notting Hill Gate, Ashburnham Primary School in Worlds End and Avonmore Primary in Kensington Olympia.
This allows for the sharing of expertise, training, recruitment and experience between the schools. It has meant that the three schools have flourished in the face of increasing demands on an ever shrinking funding pool.
Where will my sponsorship money go?
Funding pressure means that there are some things we cannot provide, for example:
Speech and Language: For many of our children with complex needs, this could make the difference between achieving their potential or not.
Peripatetic Art and Play Therapy: For children who have experienced trauma or are struggling with difficult home environments this is invaluable.
Residential Trips: These are invaluable to for children's confidence and resilience
Theatre Trips: Many of our children will never have experienced live theatre.
The number of children on Free School Meals in the Federation is higher than national average - and at Ashbunrham it is double.
The schools in the Federation have more than double the national average of children with English as an additional Language.
The schools also have a higher than average number of children with Special Educational Needs - at Fox it's nearly 50% more than the National Average.
More than 90% of children in our Federation achieve the required standard in phonics as opposed to 83% nationally.
Children in the Federation achieve higher than the national average in Reading Writing and Maths in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
